A Mayer shredfest
I used to think he was just a cute kid crooner. Someone who can really play an instrument gets extra points in my book. He just picked up an award for . . . "Best Some Damn Thing". Congratulations.
Okay, just found this blog, so I'm gonna comment on something old. I was as surprised as you were by his technical ability, and even more surprised by the fact that he seems to have abandoned the whole cute pop star w/guitar thing to do a R&B/Funk project. Wow.
